Delete game data

Choose what you want to remove, and keep control of what stays.

Last updated 8 October 2026

Developer test builds: supported builds offer optional cloud backup. You don’t need an account to play. Device progress and a connected cloud copy are separate: choose which one you want to remove.

Remove progress from this iPhone

Deleting Jelly Scoot from your iPhone removes the app and its local game data. In iPhone Settings, use General → iPhone Storage → Jelly Scoot → Delete App. “Offload App” keeps documents and data, so it is not the same as deleting the app.

This can permanently remove progress that has no backup. If you are troubleshooting missing progress, contact support before deleting the app. Any separate iCloud or device backup is managed through Apple and may need to be handled separately.

Delete an optional cloud copy

In a supported test build, choose Settings → Account → Delete cloud game data and confirm. This removes the active Jelly Scoot cloud save, profile, cosmetic ownership and save-operation records. The game then requests removal of its game-specific Unity Authentication player record. It keeps the progress on your current device and does not delete your separate Unity Player Account.

If deletion is interrupted, return to the app and retry so the remaining step can finish. Disconnecting or deleting the app does not delete an existing cloud copy. If your build does not include online features, you can still remove local device data as described above.

What is retained after cloud deletion?

Jelly Scoot retains only a hash derived from the account identifier and the deletion time in a small deletion record. This record has no automatic expiry and prevents old requests from recreating deleted game data. It does not contain your name, progress or board. Contact us if you want to ask about this record or object to its retention.

The current test cloud database has no independent backups configured. Deletion does not remove your own Apple device backups, the separate Unity Player Account, or information providers keep for their own service or security purposes. See the privacy notice for the current retention details.

Contact us about deletion

You can request deletion of information you have sent to Jelly Scoot support by emailing contact@klikkit.co.uk. Tell us which information or conversation the request concerns. You can also contact us if you cannot access the cloud deletion control.

We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Please don’t email passwords, sign-in codes, full card details or identity documents with your initial request.

What a deletion request does not do

  • It does not cancel or refund an Apple purchase. Apple handles those requests separately.
  • It does not delete your Apple Account or a Unity Player Account.
  • It does not automatically remove a backup managed by your device or cloud-backup provider.
